“I have been a student of Susan’s for almost 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed her yoga classes. Susan goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels comfortable, regardless of your experience. She explains all the poses and the benefits of each as well as offering any modifications that may help you out. Her classes are informative, centering in our busy weeks as well as just being plain enjoyable. I look forward to my Tuesday nights.” - PT

This gentle class is designed to accommodate a wide variety of physical abilities among the older adult and senior population. Classes include warm-ups, asana (poses), pranayama (breathing practices), and end with a guided relaxation. Each pose is instructed using several variations so that students can find what works best for them. We use walls and chairs to support us in standing poses. We do standing and lying down poses in chairs. We make it safe and comfortable for you.

“My class with Susan was the first yoga class I had ever taken, and it was a very positive experience. I was impressed by her knowledge, training and grateful for her ability to provide variations to the standard poses to meet my specific physical limitations.  She is a very understanding instructor who makes the effort to assess and meet the needs of her students while still maintaining a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.” - WM
